Well I just got done reading Joey's blog about him and maggie. I wish I could say that I have funny stories, but I do not have a child at home full time yet. I guess here in about 3 monthes i can tell you baby stories. Although maggie is a very good story child and it will be hard to beat.

I totally flunked the first glucose test they gave me at the dr's office last week. So I have to go in for another test. This one is 3 hrs long and I have to give blood 4 times. Now if you truely know me you know i do not have a love for needles. Infact i despise them greatly. But not passing the test did not surprise me at all. Considering Memere was a diabetic and mom is borderline, i must complete the circle. However i am following in my fathers footsteps by having low blood pressure.

Getting really excited about mom and dad coming home, family reunion, 50th wedding anniversary and of course the baby shower!! Emily is one of the best hostesses i know, so i know that the whole weekend will be catered to the best of her abilities!

I can not wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks for the Hagen festivities. I want to catch up with everyone and see all the cousins!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to know everything is going ok. Still sick and having some abdominal pain. I guess that is just pregnancy? Anyways Chally passed the 4th grade and will be entering the 5th grade in the fall. She said she is not looking forward to 5th grade because it is too much responsibility. Not sure where that came from but I think she will handle it just fine.

She is looking forward to the new baby arriving. Madalynn KylieAnne Becker. She made some pictures for her room and picked out some items for the baby registry.

My father in law cut off part of his finger last week. He went to the hospital and had surgery done on it. I guess it was only cut off to the first bend. It of course was on his left hand middle finger. Robert always used to tell the boys if they continued to flip people off they would loose their finger. I guess my question is Robert who have you been flipping off?? After the surgery he wanted to go to Dairy Queen. So of course my mother in law Candy took him to the DQ in Hayes and got him an ice cream. I guess you can never be too old for ice cream after surgery!!!

Hello everyone. Well not much has changed here at the Becker household. Chally is bowling againg this summer. Her and her friend Kaitlynne have a team and they are having a blast. If this works out maybe she could be our professional bowler. (not! unless it involves cute boys and gossiping) Anyways going to get another sonogram on June 1st. Maybe then they can tell us officially that it is a girl. So far I can tell it is Leo's child because she is not cooperating very well. I am still sick to my stomach almost everyday. Dr told me nothing else he can do for me.

I am so excited next month we will be partying with everyone. An anniversay, baby shower and family reunion. So many reasons to celebrate!! Get ready to party everyone!!!

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend. Eveything is going well here. Just got done working this weekend. There was a fight with one of the inmates and of course i was confined to the control room while everyone else got to have fun. Not sure if i am happy that i did not have to write a report or sad because i could not join in. Hayes the other Cpl. had my back and he took care of it.

Chally and I (mostly Chally) picked out items last weekend for the baby on line at babies r us. She had more fun looking and putting things on the wish list. I can not believe how excited she is. That is a good thing i hope. I hope she keeps up her enthusiasm once the baby is born. She has always been the center of attention, and now she will have to share. So far she is doing pretty good. She so was so excited when she felt the baby kicking me in the stomach. She thought it was even more funning when i told her the baby was kicking me in the butt.

Leo went to our Nephews graduation this weekend. It was a 4 hr trip by himself, but he made it. I dont think Leo would have missed it for the world. He is so proud of him. Matt has been through so much in his life that his graduating makes everything a little better. Matt is pretty serious with his girlfriend, so I guess our next big celebration with him will be his wedding!!

Carrie & Leo

Hello everyone! Leo is feeling much better. He even learned how to put in his own eye drops!
We went and had another sonogram done on the 5th. They say it is still a girl. However, her foot was in the way. Leo thinks there is still hope for a boy.

Chally is spending mothers day weekend with us and I am so excited. She is so excited we are having a girl. She says when the baby is old enough and Chal can drive she is going to take her to the mall and go shopping. I dont know how long that dream will last but I am running with it. Wish I could get her to say that on video so I have evidence when she starts screaming, "no way am i taking her with me!"

Chally had her first violin concert last week and I must say she is very good. Even baby bunny thought so because she kicked the entire time Chally played.

I can not believe it. Leo has pink eye. Do you know how creepy he looks. One eye that is normal and the other that is bright red. So of course the Dr. ordered him eye drops. Let me tell you about one thing my husband can not do on his own, PUT EYE DROPS IN HIS EYES. So for the next week 3 times a day my husband gets to rely on me to put drops in his eyes. Talk about a power trip. He has to trust the fact I will not poke his eye out. It is a good thing we are so in love or this could be a tramatic experience for him. He says it is really scratchy. I asked him he wanted be to get him an eye patch. He looked at me and went "arrrrggggg"

I am now on new meds and they are working for the stomach but they do have side effects. I wish not to explain that lovliness over our blog. However I can say that Medication to deter the effects of other medication is a pain!! Going to get another sonogram on the 5th of May. It will determin (hopefully) the true verification of the sex of the baby.

Well it is Thursday night and i am just tired. I am on a new medicine that I made the Dr. give me and I am feeling better. Yeah my puking as come to a minimal amount. Food is looking much better. I have lost 6 pounds this pregnancy. Not the weight loss plan that I was looking for but as long as me and kiddo are healthy I am ok with that.

We are getting ready to spend the weekend with Leo's family. We are treating his dad to some Indy car series this weekend at the KS Motor Speedway. So a couple of his brothers thought it would be fun to join in, so they are bringing their families to enjoy in the festivities also. It will be alot of fun.

Well it is a beautiful Monday and I am off. Mom and Dad are on their way to Indiana to do some training. They have now become the new traveling hosts (I guess). Mom and Dad you should be so proud of yourselves for being so good at what you do. I have known for years how awesome you are and it is about time that the rest of the world know it too!!

I have an ob appt tomorrow. So far everything is going great other than the fact that i am still sick to my stomach everyday and puke almost every day. Going to talk to the doctor about a new nausea medicine.

I have also been corrected on my previous blog. It is Aunt Kathy and Uncle Chucks 50th not 40th anniversary. Sorry kids didnt mean to make you feel younger. Either way they are an inspiration to us all and I wish them many more years to come. I hope I will be as good looking and happy as them when Leo and I have been married for 50 years!!

Well Leo and I had to work over Easter Weekend, so needless to say the Easter Bunny did not visit our house this year. But next year you better watch out. Easter Bunny better be ready!
Everything is going better here. Not as much morning sickness but when it comes it comes strong and hard. I am really tired and dont feel like doing much. Leo is being so great at doing most of the house work. God really gave me a blessing when I married him. I have figured out that I am not a good breeder. I believe one is all Leo and I will produce. I will leave the child bearing to the ones who can handle it better than me. Hope everyone had a great Easter and I can not wait until June to celebrate with my family the 50th wedding anniversary of my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Chuck. Talk about a lady that could breed. She is a much better trooper than me.

Well we went to get another sonogram today. Everything is going great so far. The lady that did the sonogram said she would guess it was a girl. She said the baby was facing away from us and the legs were spread, and she saw nothing. However, since the baby was facing away from us she could not be 100% certain. We will go back between weeks 23 to 25 weeks old. We are both extremely happy. Now we just need her to be born healthy and we will be the happiest family ever. Leo says we need to come up with 1 boy name just in case.

I guess this is where all the work begins on our part. The buying and getting things ready. If my morning/Daysickness would just slow down everything would be much happier on my part.

Its Sunday

We have a mixer of light rain and snow falling again. I can only think of one thing to stop it this year Howard and Linda need to come back!!!!! Carrie and I can’t wait till tomorrow we will find out, what the sex of the baby is…

Boy or Girl

On Monday we will find out if the baby is a boy or a girl!!!! It does not make a difference to us what it is as long as its healthy.
